MH-IMU-R is a Mink Hollow Systems product where the IMU can be remotely accessed via an extension cable. The cRIO form factor reads and configures the MH-IMU-R via an NI 9401 digital module. The PXI form factor reads and configures the MH-IMU-R via Mink Hollow Systems MH-IMU-PR with an external front panel connector. Mink Hollow Systems developed the cRIO and PXI software to communicate with this device at the highest data rate. The IMU component is a complete triple axis MEMS gyroscope and triple axis accelerometer inertial sensing system.

The MH-IMU-CR is the cabled version of the remote IMU connected to an NI-9401 cRIO high speed digital module. Its integration is easy as the module boots up ready to output 3 axis IMU data. LabVIEW developers receive a library of VI’s to configure and read the accelerations of the IMU. The IMU component is a complete triple axis MEMS gyroscope and triple axis accelerometer inertial sensing system.

Its integration is easy as it fits in a double-slot cRIO module and allows low-level communication using the cRIO’s FPGA. LabVIEW developers receive a library of VI’s to configure and read IMU measurements.

The MH-IMU-PI is the embedded PXI compatible Mink Hollow Systems Inertial Measurement Unit. In this form factor, the IMU resides on a Mink Hollow MHS-C64DSP module. The Mink Hollow MH-C64DSP board provides the low-level communication and control, allowing LabVIEW users to get the full bandwidth from the IMU with minimum programming. The IMU component is a complete triple axis MEMS gyroscope and triple axis accelerometer inertial sensing system.

The MH-IMU-PR is the cabled version of the remote IMU connected to an external connector on the MH-C64DSP. LabVIEW developers receive a library of VI’s to configure and read the accelerations of the IMU. The IMU component is a complete triple axis MEMS gyroscope and triple axis accelerometer inertial sensing system. The programmable features allow for: in-system auto-bias calibration, digital filtering and sample rate, self-test, power management, condition monitoring, and auxiliary digital input/output. The MEMS gyroscope output measurement and acceleration output are 14 bit measurements that are accurate to 0.07326°/s and 2.522 mg.
